The City of Spanish Fort Public Works Department is structured to handle a variety of day-to-day Public Works issues. Please call City Hall at 251.626.4884, Monday- Friday, and a Public Works Activity Form will be created to address your issue. For emergency Public Works issues on weekends, please call the Spanish Fort Police Department at 251.626.4914.

The City of Spanish Fort will pick up stray animals found on public property. Dogs and cats are held for 24 hours as the City Hall staff attempts to locate the pet owner. After the 24-hour holding time, the stray animal will be transferred to the Baldwin County Animal Control Center
for 7 days. Please call Baldwin County Animal Control Center at 251.972.6834 for more information about an animal missing for more than 24 hours.
Lost and found pets are posted on the City's facebook page titled Spanish Fort, Alabama
. Individuals are encouraged to post any lost or found pets on the City's facebook page, as well.
For emergency situations, call 911 of Spanish Fort Police Department at
251.626.4914. For additional information, contact Alabama Division of
Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries, 251.626.5474, Monday-Friday. For weekend response only, call 1.800.272.GAME. Alligators are a federally protected
species and are dangerous. Do need feed alligators and do
not attempt to control them without assistance from law or wildlife enforcement.
The City of Spanish Fort sprays the public areas of the City City weekly before and during
mosquito activity. All spraying activity is done
several hours before sunrise, Monday -
Thursday. Larvicide mosquito rings are
normally available at City Hall for treating
standing water, helping to prevent
mosquitos from hatching. The larvicide
rings are non-toxic to humans and pets. Please call City Hall to
inquire about the availability of larvicide
