Resolution No. 852-2016
A Resolution Setting Forth the Rules and Regulations for the Rental of the
Spanish Fort Community Center.

If you have lost or found a pet, contact
Spanish Fort City Hall with information and a
photo of the pet, if possible.  This information
may be posted on the
City's Facebook page,
and shared with area veterinarians, animal
shelters, etc.
Please do your part by being a
pet owner.  Have your pets spayed or
neutered. Pets should be micro-chipped or,
at the very least, wear a substantial collar
with current ID tags attached so that, should
they go missing, someone who finds your
pet can return them to you as soon as possible.

"The Fort" Kids Park on Ember Lane will be closed until further notice due to renovations.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will be modifying the interchange at Interstate 10 and State Road 181. ALDOT anticipates construction to begin early 2018. The new interchange, known as the Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI), will be the first one in Alabama. The DDI is designed to improve traffic flow efficiency and safety with fewer traffic lights and safer entry and exit lanes to and from I-10. The improved traffic flow with fewer conflict points is proven to reduce accidents and increase safety of motorists. And the ALDOT Survey Says...

The proposed I-10 Bridge over the Mobile River is included in President Obama's list of Five Big Infrastructure Emergencies. We all know what an inconvenience driving through the Wallace Tunnel can be on holidays and weekends, and especially so when you have to make that commute on a regular basis.  Read the article at

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) invites you to participate in a study concerning Interstate 10, focusing on the current and future needs of commuters and other area travelers. The primary purpose of the project is to relieve congestion, increase capacity and promote a greater flow of commerce in the region.

To participate, please use this link:

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes.  Your answers will be confidential and will only be used by ALDOT, and no personal information is required.  This study is being conducted for ALDOT by RSG, Inc, a national transportation market research firm.
