Meaher State Park

Gateway to the Delta

Located at the Gateway to the Delta, Meaher State Park is a scenic 1,327-acre park located in Spanish Fort offering a retreat for residents and visitors alike. With amenities for fishing, boating and camping, nature trails for hiking and exploring, as well as picnicking facilities, Meaher State Park is both an angler’s dream and a camper’s paradise.

Fishing, Boating, Camping, and Picnicking

A boat ramp and fishing pier invite all fishermen, with Mobile Bay providing a productive estuary offering numerous species of fresh and saltwater fish. The park has a 300 foot pier with a 200 foot “T”, making it an excellent location for fishing. A self-guided walk on two nature trails includes a boardwalk with close up views of the Mobile Tensaw Delta. Enjoy watching the abundant aquatic bird life as well as alligators.

Meaher State Park has 56 new campsites (20, 30 and 50 amp electrical connections) with water and sewer. The campground includes a bathhouse with laundry facilities for overnight campers.

The Day Use Area features a picnic area and comfort station for visitors.
