In the event of a natural disaster, it is our number one priority to provide the necessary means, personnel, and equipment to save lives, prevent injury, minimize damage, maintain and restore damaged facilities essential to the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens and the affected area. To ensure we are able to do so, it is important for the citizens to stay up to date and adhere to warnings we announce for our area. In the event of an emergency, the City of Spanish Fort will update the citizens by posting on the City of Spanish Fort website and the City of Spanish Fort Facebook page. In the event of a tornado warning the tornado sirens will be activated throughout the city.

 

In the event of a mandatory evacuation, the evacuation routes will be Highway 31 North and Highway 225 North. Be advised no traffic will be allowed to return to the City during evacuation without clearance from the Emergency Management Operation Director or Chief of Police.
